After triggering a self-destruct mechanism on a spacecraft, Supergirl finds herself watching her own funeral and then being involved in a strange mix of historical events.
Supergirl participates in an experiment that goes awry. Tony Walston has Supergirl's invulnerability for 24 hours, but whatever harm befalls him is transferred to Supergirl, who temporarily isn't invulnerable.
Supergirl finds Tommy, who has been captured by racketeer Vince Martell, and must keep Tommy safe from Martell's death traps in order to save her own life.
