The Demon Tree (the main computer that was the electronic brain of the robot aliens spaceship), intices Stone-Hand, White-Hair, and Eev to approach it. It then creates a force field trapping them. It offers protection and food creating a literal garden of Eden. Stone-Hand wants his freedom and after White-Hair dies of a radiation leak, he attacks the tree. Meanwhile Devil Dinosaur has reunited with Moon-Boy and approaches the force field, running into it at full speed causing it to shatter. The energy feedback destroys the tree. Stone Hand and Eev are grateful and leave together.

On-sale date from Comic Reader #158.

  • The Prisoner of the Demon Tree! - Possible Crespi credit per Nick Caputo, 2011, based on analysis of lettering styles. Previous indexer listed Mike Royer.
  • Demon-Tree! - The computer is called the "Demon Tree" because it's twisted metal damaged frame resembles a tree. The text of the story implies that this is the true story of what would be known as "Adam and Eve" in the Bible; that story being distorted through numerous retellings throughout the millennias. Before reuniting with Devil, Moon Boy has to escape from a "Hopper" (Ornithomimus) and avoid getting trampled by the "Plant Eaters" (Brontosauruses). Devil reunites with Moon Boy by rescuing him from a Raptor and later has to save him again from a Pteranodon.
