Title page, production credits, indicia

Sacco talks to a couple of hotel receptionists in Cairo. While one is apolitical, the other has strong feelings against Israel.

Sacco meets a man in the West Bank who welcomes him with open arms. He goes on to contrast the widespread exposure the Leon Klinghoffer/ Achille Lauro affair received with the lack of U.S. media coverage of the oppression of Palestinians.

Sacco talks to a young Jewish man in Jerusalem and gives a brief rundown on the origins of Zionism. He meets a Palestinian refugee from 1948.

In Silwan, Sacco comes across a demonstration against the settlements and a demonstration in favor of them.

Sacco meets a kid who claims that settlers kicked out his family from their home in Silwan.

Background notes on the political situation in the Occupied Territories and Jerusalem during his time there doing research. There's also a brief historical overview.

A brief blurb summarizing the issue plus quotes from Larry Gonick and Chester Brown. The final page from the "Blind Dates" story is shown.
