In the year 1971 a man makes the first flight to Mars and finds to his horror that a plant creature has destroyed all life on Mars and demands to be taken to Earth so as to repeat the process. The man kills himself by blowing up the spaceship and stranding the monster in space.
A man arranges for a rival to be murdered at Mardi Gras, but instead of meeting the assassin in a Devil costume, he gets hauled away by the real Devil.
A harmless-looking criminal decides to buy a frightening mask, but when the store owner tells him he can't have the most frightening he steals it. He discovers the first time he removes the mask that it has made his face just as ugly as the mask and so easily recognizable.
An evil old man in a cabin tends plants who used to be people.
